BDPHONES - Turning Off (love songs)

This is the newest tape that SSF has put out. If you checked out the last Bdphones (formerly Bedphones) that I put out, you kinda have an idea of how unique these songs are. I'm probably the biggest BdP out there. These songs are so catchy and moody, well layered and honest. Bradley does all of everything in Bdphones and he is truly an obsessive maniac when it comes to music. The only thing stopping him from playing guitar all of the time is tending to car washes and the fact that his hands are fucked from already doing it so much. If you're into downer music made by a super devoted weirdo you ought to check this out. This is a deep and personal collection of songs. The lyrics make you feel like you're almost intruding on someone else's inner thoughts, wishes, emotions. Sometimes unnerving, sometimes depressing, but would you rather listen to vapid pop music? Beautiful melodies, great hooks. I really can't reccommend this enough!
It's 9 songs, close to an hour. Each side has one ambient track each. Easy to get lost in. Tapes are hand painted and labeled. Comes with a real nice glossy tray card and a lyrics sheet rubber banded on the outside. Variety of colors of tapes and lyrics sheet. Pretty neat.
3 dollars or trade, 3 dollars shipping. Buy both the be/dphones tapes and i'll throw in a 3rd tape! You can listen to these songs on the bdphones page... bedphones.bandcamp.com.
In other news, I've uncovered some tapes that were previously out of print. If you're interested in getting a copy of the CITYCOP. "Gang Wars" tape, the GUNTHER s/t, or the KILLED BY SCHOOL mixtape, shoot me an email! There's only a handful of each so jump on it quick. CC. tape is 2 dollars, Gunther tape is 1 dollar, as is the mixtape. TRADES WELCOME.

Also, there are only a handful more of the Acidic Tree "Dead on Our Feet" tape, and I am the only one who has them. Although, we'll be making about 30 more for their weekend tour with Half Milk in October. More details on that later!

Send me tapes to review for the next issue of KYPG! I'm out of the Cousins and People Mostly Suck It tapes.

Stay weird or die,

Macklin
