DISTRO: NEW

Couple new things added to the distro. I picked up a couple issues of POTENTIAL FRIENDS which is a fanzine out of Chicago by the drummer of PoisonxPlanet/Razorxfade/Skrapyard. I also got a couple of copies of the POOR CHOICE tour tape from Max.

POTENTIAL FRIENDS #2 is full-sized, b/w photo-copied. It contains a KICKED IN, SORRY EXCUSE, RAZORxFADE weekend tour journal that's thoroughly amusing, mosh injury stories, a lengthy full-band interview with Chicago's THE OUTS, reviews, and other angsty things written by Tyler, along with plenty of stolen photos and lyrics of cool bands. This zine will be especially appealing to people who are in to sxe, vegan hardcore punk (no youth crew here), but is still good if that's not particularly your thing. Purchase for 2.50 (plus another 1.50 IF shipping alone) or for trade.

POTENTIAL FRIENDS #3 shows improvement from its predecessor, despite being on 1/2 sized. Tyler talks about how it takes stepping out of punk for a second to realize how fucked the world really is, the state of the nation and positivity; there's a CULO/HOAX/CRAZY SPIRIT show review, awesome insightful interview with Chicago/Chicano punx HAKA, and plenty of reviews and original photos of bands like PUKEOID, THE ROPES, CLOUD RAT, THE OUTS, and more. $1.50, $1.00 for shipping (if alone). Trades encouraged.

The POOR CHOICE tour tape is definitely worth picking up if you've never listened to them or if you never got a copy of their first couple tapes, because this is their complete discography (minus the first demo) to date PLUS a live radio set. This tape includes the AWESOME TIMES/SAD DAD tape ep, the FIRST DAY OF THE END OF MY LIFE tape ep, the entire 7" (TEENAGE LOVE IS BEAUTIFUL), and a live radio session on WHPK. Hand-drawn cover, photo copied art, hand stenciled tape. $2.00 only! trade or send a dollar for shipping.

I'll be getting some more tapes to distro pretty soon. Also, I'm gonna start working on the new Bedphones tape pretty soon, and KYPG#5 will be out by the end of the month, IDEALLY. Stay rockin', rockers.
